Paris 2012 – Part 2: Basilique du Sacré-Coeur

Following on from the last part here is Sacré-Coeur. Designed by Paul Abadie after the events of the Franco-Prussian war and the Paris Commune of 1871 (to honour those who died in the first and condemn the actions of the second) and constructed between 1875 and 1914.
