Gd ‘i don’t care about criticisms of the last jedi’ posts would be hilarious if they weren’t, you know…like that.

1. It’s okay eveyone already knew you don’t care about non-white people or their opinions, I promise that was already chrystal clear to us.

2. If you don’t want to have this conversation that’s fine, good for you. Other people clearly do and they aren’t going to stop cause you personally have opted out not should they. Why enter those conversations to tell people you don’t care about the subject matter – just go an have a conversation you do want to have.

3. It’s transparently obvious that while you don’t care about what the criticism is you care a lot that it exists, why? If this is supposed to make you seem above it all it isn’t working.

oh the other thing I really like about how musketeers deals with race/skin colour/etc stuff, other than acknowledging that not everyone needs to be white in 1600s france and that the musketeers probably weren’t written as all white (and spending an entire episode going ‘fuck you’ to people who think its not historically accurate)

is that it seems to know that people from south europe (or who owe their heritage there) are often darker skinned than those from the north and that’s really cool cause you don’t see it often.

(It’s acctually a problem I have with les mis film casting and art as all of les amis (except one, who i’m fairly sure is bossuet?) are meant to be from the south and every single one of them doesn’t look like it)

unrelated but I like how musketeer angst seems to control rain in paris
