JMU sociology class asks female and male students around campus “What do you do to to protect yourself from sexual violence?” The difference is pretty striking – not surprising, but interesting still.
I think this deserves more than 4 notes.
on a slightly heartening note: we’ve been taught (briefly) to consider this in architectural design as in how to have everyone feel safe in your design particularly including the approach to the building/any public areas within design and particularly in the dark.
