why r so many star wars hets like “interracial main couple would be just as/more progressive than a gay couple!” like as if poefinn isnt…..also interracial……..interracial doesn’t mean white + non white lmao
It doesn’t mean that but white supremacy does have a specific problem with interracial relationships involving white people (in addition to the problems they find with interracial relationships in general) along the lines of it ‘corrupting or tainting the white race’ (and other such bullshit) so yeah under that outlook two non-white people being together is ‘better’ than one of them being with a white person
(I’m not really trying to argue that any of the potential pairings here are ‘more progressive’ though cause I don’t think it’s a useful scale)
