The three lower prices are all attached to the strips of leather down the back the rivet on the top side is then hidden under the overlapping piece above it (also then you don’t have to rivet through two pieces of thick leather and each peice can move independantly so it’s a bit more flexible)

Athos and Aramis’ pauldron are done! (Well part of aramis’ is still clipped together to dry but still)

Anyway I enjoyed doing these and I’m proud of them but also…phew, done

I’ve included a photo of the back part with the floating articulation (that’s on athos’ aramis’ works the same way) as well as some detail shots, there is probably considerably more glue on these than in the 17th century.
