Ok I have enough money to get me a bed in a hostel for 2 days more but after that I have no clue wat I’m gonna do after that could I get some advice 😦 anyone in the uk know what to do in this situation like should I go to the council or?? hh

your local council should have some sort of 24/7 line for people in emergency situations. In theory they are oblidged to help you, in practice thats a bit variable and possibly not very fast – they may decide you’re eligable for emergency housing (if you are classed as priority need) and then later long term housing depending on your circumstances. At the very least they will give you local numbers of outreach people, cause that’s not a very nationalised system – the ones that are reasonably national that I know of are citizens advice centres and shelter advice

if you have a local ymca they can be very helpful (they are a christian organization but I have friends who’ve got help from them and they are not aweful, but it might depend where you are) they essentailly help you become eligable for housing benefit then apply for it

This all depends a bit on whether you are a british citizen and/or perminant resident and how old you are. If you are under 18 socail services are oblidged to help you (and the council will probably hand your case over to them anyway). If you are 16-17 and homless you will almost deffinitly be classed as in need (if you aren’t the council will class you as priority 99% of the time and you’ll get help that way) and helped with housing if you are under 16 you deffinitly will be. And also where you are
