The hypersexualization of Poe Dameron makes me physically ill

It’s especially horrible because Oscar Isaac hates and advocates against latinx people being reduced to the suave Latin lover archetype, or the fiery and sexy Latina with a temper. He has refused to accept roles that reduce Latinxs to these sexual archetypes, and would absolutely be ashamed to see his fans reduce Poe to this. The hypersexulization of latinx people is so prevalent in the media and by fandom it’s ridiculous and absolutely repugnant.
