In college, we don’t say “I love you”, we say “I have 5 essays, two finals, and 3 group projects due in the next 8 days” which translates to “I would like to be crushed by a train” and I think that’s pretty cool.
First year studio: it’s okay we don’t need you to consider the foundations for buildings until next year
Architecture: Ironically the one subject that doesn’t begin with the foundations
Flatmate: hey you never showed us the pictures from your paris field trip!
Me: what? 6000 photos of buildings, are you sure?
