hyperlexia: a reading disability defined by precocious reading ability, poor social skills, difficulty with reading comprehension, and communication issues. associated with autism spectrum disorders. i have this particular disability, and i did not speak till i was four years old; i could read before i could speak.

dyscalculia: disability involving math skills. i have this as well. it causes problems with not only things like basic math but with time (reading analog clocks is nearly impossible), remembering numbers (such as phone numbers), spatial reasoning, and directions such as left and right.

dysgraphia: disability involving writing. causes poor handwriting and spelling/grammar, trouble with organizing thoughts on paper, problems holding writing utensils, and poor finger sequencing (movement of muscles you use to write).
