#this is my favourite bit of behind the scenes characterisation of Remus ever #because the Remus that the trio knows is quiet and polite and would never bad-mouth a peer #even Snape who has proven himself to be deserving of bad-mouthing #Remus still goes out of his way to speak about him as polite and objectively as possible #but here #this #can you imagine?#Remus and Sirius sitting around Grimmauld Place drinking Fire Whiskey and talking smack #Remus swearing and coming up with really creative insults about what a horrible person Umbridge is #Remus not being this perfect shining example of how civilized a werewolf can be #but being rude and disgruntled around Sirius #because it’s Sirius #and he can do this around Sirius #because there’s nobody left who knows him like this #I know nobody ever reads these things #but this is the type of behind the scenes glimpse into a secondary character that I live off (via theabsentear)
