saw that post about classical music not being boring cause canons and its not strictly classical music but I’ve got a good orchestra story about odd things being used as instruments

I was in the county youth orchesra when I was younger and we met every two weeks for a full day at the weekend we had this saga over the first three rehearsals after we’d started playing a lord of the rings arrangment

rehearsal one: the score asks for a brake drum…we’re not sure what that is

rehearsal two: we’ve found out…it means a brake drum as in from a car

rehersal three: we’ve mounted a break drum on a metal pole here’s a hammer to hit it with go nuts

i just saw the latest game of thrones (cause my housemate was watching it I’m not up to date on the tv series)…I’m so tempted to cosplay oberyn purely cause I could probably do the side flip spinny thing and that’d be fun

does this soulmate tattoo au thing have the words written in the other person handwriting? I think i’ve seen it a couple of times

if so can there be someone who’s tattoo reads ‘is that what this says? wow your handwriting is hard to read’ ?

SINCE there is talk of french in the air, these are the pronouns i like to use as a french version of my pronouns!!

  • os (as in elle n’est pas comfortable dans la siege = os n’est pas comfortable dans la siege)
  • lo (elle est la plus gentil = os est lo plus gentil)
  • sol (lequelle a vu ton soeur?? elle? lui? eux? sol? WAIT I EXPLAIN IT WELL HERE)
  • se and leur stays the same
  • cel/cels (qui porte jaune? celle, avec la radio. = qui porte jaune? cel avec la radio)
  • end things with “il” (elle est courageuse = os est courageuil)

I love you! Oh say it with paving stones! Is a slogan from the 1968 Paris protests and this is suppose to be for the Les mis across history week but I’m a bit late.

Grantaire takes flirting advise from revolutionary graffiti and enjolras is just a bit confused.

Other than the slogan I’ve had an attempt at 60s French clothes – Google images suggest turtle necks were in. And enjolras is carrying pamphlets as well as wearing a scarf to protect his face should he need to.

I will do a better quality version on the image when I have access to a scanner

because i have just been reminded of it! When the bbc musketeers series comes out people should cosplay that with me…yes good.

three musketeers is one of my favourite books ever so…

incidently does anyone know if its still coming out early next year (as its got peter capaldi in it mainly, so may have changed)?
