^Pretty much. He actually thought about dozens of inventions that actually came true such as the submarine, newscasts, solar sails, sky writing, tasers, video conferencing, and more. If you were to think about these stuff in the 1800’s, pretty much everyone would call B.S on you.
ooh H G Wells also has some good ones, he managed to predict atom bombs, ww2 and the moon landings
of course both of them have just as many predictions that are hilariously wrong but still fun to look at
(there are feminist writings that predate him though, also fairly sure submarines are something da vinci had also preposed)
