several hours and 100m of thread later — cloak still not done but significant progress made. my mum deserves a fucking medal for the amount of sewing she has done today (in my defence, my plan was to get her to teach me to use the sewing machine and then i’d get on with it. her plan was to do all the sewing stuff. like woah).
the shirt does look pretty darn good, for all that neither of us really knew what we were doing, and pieced it together as best we could.
