how do I grow my hair out without looking like someone who really needs a haircut for a while? or is that not possible.

i am having the same dilemma right now, friend. i want to grow it out a bit again but i look ridiculously feminine as it is, but i also want it shorter and more masculine even though it doesn’t suit me (and partially because i was going to use my own hair for Hannibal in may) …but then i was going to get dreadlock extensions in soon so i really don’t know what to do there

i guess the only way to avoid just looking like someone who really needs a haircut is to keep it neat, depends on the style you’re going for?

its a really hard thing to balance, its very annoying…I think you’re hair looks good shorter as well though. But also yeah cosplays, particularly those involving having a hair line, are much easier with your own hair so thats a factor. (eh, for will’s his hair is short on the top but longer on the sides and I don’t really want to cut the top though …)

ah yes style…I’m being kind of indecisive (which is so helpful obviously). I’m considering letting the top keep growing and keeping the back and sides neat until the tops long enough to grow out more seemlessly that might work. A bit scruffy tends to work out quite well for me on the avoiding looking overly feminine front but i think keeping it in a reasonably neat shape is a good call.

why is hair so hard?
