The fact that Kitty Pryde is not one of the main characters in the DOFP film is problemaaatic.

DOFP is a giant Holocaust refereeeence. All mutants are put in concentration camps in the futureeee.

The fact that Kitty is the one who ensures that that future never happens is important because she’s Jewish, therefore a Jewish character is directly influencing the allegory that is about her and the real life minorities she belongs toooooo.

Magneto helps to form a resistance movement even while interned in one of the camps. Kitty works with hiiiim. It’s like there is a metaphor at work here about Jewish resistance movemeeeeents.

You can’t just keep the concepts of the Holocaust as a metaphor for persecution in the film and then remove all the Jewish characters from the central focus of the plotttttt.
