I’m 100% convinced if you misgender someone after they clearly stated their gender and/or preferred pronouns, you’re an asshole. There’s no excuse of ignorance or misunderstanding. If the person says to use her/she when referring her, then do so. Leave your religion or personal beliefs the fuck out of it. Because really, what are you losing by calling that transwoman she, compared to what she feels every time she’s misgendered.
