codependent enjolras and combeferre. the two of them meeting when they’re little and becoming attatched at the hip. spending every weekend at each other’s houses from the time that they’re seven. learning morse code so that they can communicate with pencil taps during class. learning about things together. forming opinions together. fighting each other until they’re both red in the face and then making up immediately. learning to kiss by practicing on each other, and it not feeling weird about it. enjolras and combeferre rooming together in college, and after college. texting each other throughout the day if they have to be apart. when one of them leaves town they skype each other without talking; they just leave it running while they both do their work. during les amis meetings they sit next to each other and unconsciously touch each other. If combeferre gets up to grab something enjolras lets out a soft noise of protest without even realizing that he’s doing it.
